This is for you if
- The device has to recognize something even where there is no internet: in a field, in a hospital, in a pocket.
- You do not want people's data to leave the device, or Europe.
- You want an assistant on your site that answers with your information, without making things up.
How I work
- First I look at the data you have, or the data the device can collect. Often the real work is here.
- I choose a small model that fits your hardware, and I prepare it on your data.
- I put it on the device. When that is not enough, I put it on a server in Europe, and the device only asks it for the answer.
- We look together at where it gets things wrong, and we improve it.
What you have at the end
- The model running on your device, or on your server.
- The program that feeds it the data and uses the answer.
- A simple note: how to use it, and how far you can trust it.
Real cases
Madglove makes a glove for rehabilitation. The sensors, the size of a ring, read the hand's movements. A small model inside the chip recognizes which movement the patient makes. No internet is needed, and the data stays on the glove.
On the Olivabot robots the model recognizes what it sees and turns it into movement, on a Raspberry Pi with a dedicated chip. They are laboratory prototypes.
On the Ditta Currà site an assistant answers customers using only the site's own pages.
What I work with
- TensorFlow Lite
- Hailo
- ESP32
- Raspberry Pi
- Python
- C++
- Sensors
You do not need to know these names to work with me. They are here for whoever looks for them. Hailo is a chip made to run artificial intelligence on a small device.
What it costs
As a guide: €120 an hour, before VAT. A whole project is usually €8,000 to €25,000. An assistant on your site, answering from your own pages, costs less.
These prices are a guide. When the job is clear, I give you one fixed price for the whole project. When it is still open, we go by the hour. Every project is different: write to me, we talk, and then I send you a written price for that job.
